Highly recommend for couples

The staff here were accommodating, like when they found us a room early so we didn't have to wait after our flight. Plus, the breakfast was something else. I mean biscuits and gravy? A total winner on a morning like that.

It wasn't exactly inexpensive for what you get, but still acceptable.

Under renovation, so lobby and breakfast room were in temporary spaces. Breakfast was ok but I'm sure will improve when renovation is complete. Small pool, but you're at the beach!

Loved it. This HOTel was recently renovated. Besides, the location was convenient for our stay, within 25 minutes' walk of a shopping mall.

The beds were comfortable and the location was good, however, those were about the only bonuses.

Our check in process was terrible, our room type was over booked, and the night audit was left to deal with this situation on her first night working by herself, poor girl. She spoke to her managers who would not give her the code for us to change rooms and be there the rest of our stay. We finally were given a different room than we had booked, and were asked to call management in the morning to switch to our correct room. Of course, after arriving at 130am and waiting an hour to be given a room, and then getting settled in in the morning we did not want to change rooms. I communicated this to a front desk agent who told me we were find to stay put. About an hour later she called me back asking if we could move. After already being inconvenienced the night before, and then told we could stay in the room we had, to call us to change rooms mid morning when we were ready to start our day was just bad customer service. First impressions are everything and the way the staff handled the situation not only did not turn the experience into a positive one, but made it worse.

super base for discovering newport beach with fairly friendly staff that should be management. central location and fabulous hotel itself. walking distance to a market and several stores across the street.

Comfy room, excellent breakfast, with a great variety of food items including warm cinnamon rolls and hot food in close proximity to John Wayne Airport, perfect for our family outings.

No complaints.

The Hotel was in the center of everything, had free parking and was well kept. The staff here was amazing, everyone was very friendly and extreamly helpful.

This place suits me perfectly, offering free wi-fi, a cozy outdoor pool, and a friendly 24-hour reception. I still remember how the staff helped me print my boarding pass on my first stay. Always happy here!

The free breakfast was great with my family, the hotel was located very close to the beach which was also very helpful. Rooms were spacious and clean, staff was very friendly and helpful.

We booked a brand-new and new-fashioned room with comfy beds. There were a microwave oven and a fridge upon arrival. Central location really close to good restaurants, loved it. Furthermore, close to the beach.

Great vibe but not so quiet!

Had a fun 3-night stay. The location was awesome, just a 35 min walk to the beach! The breakfast was surprisingly good for a hotel, and I really enjoyed the workout room too. They knocked way too many times while I was trying to sleep, super annoying! Would've loved a bit more privacy.

Location was great! Close to grocery/pharmacy and easy access to fashion island, crystal cove beach and John Wayne airport! Room was quiet and clean. Breakfast was decent. Staff very nice. New girl didn't know where nearest pharmacy was; thank goodness for the Internet. Parking and access to hotel was easy.

The a/c unit and room had a musty/moldy scent to it. Someone was smoking in the hotel which you could smell in hallways. Pillows are old and need replacing. Plus the pillows are faux/feather which are not comfortable.

The bed was comfy The breakfast was fine for a veggie like me.

The renovations were more annoying than I thought. No one told us the pool and jacuzzi would be out of action as well as the front desk. On our last morning the breakfast room opened and I have to say it was really nice. Shame it wasn't finished earlier in our stay. It was a long walk to beaches and Balboa island, along very big busy roads.
